Alex and Karina's Val Vista Lake Wedding
One of the best compliments as a photographer is a referral. I first met Karina when I photographed her awesome friends JoAnna and Nick's New Year's Eve wedding a couple of years back! Karina and JoAnna (Matron of Honor), have a beautiful friendship and bond as if real life sisters, which made it extremely special that JoAnna's dad actually walked Karina down the isle.
Karina and Alex made sure to include their sweet daughters in the ceremony in a few different ways. They both had the role of flower girls, Karina's daughter played the violin as her mom walked down the isle, and they helped in the sand ceremony to unify the family. A really awesome way to show their beautiful family.
Alex is a Marine, so the couple made sure to incorporate many Military nods throughout the wedding, from the dog tags for table assignments, to the camo garter, and even the Fallen Comrade Table. One of the other must haves for this couple was the Military arch, which results in very awesome photos.
This couple was a blast and had so much fun laughing together. A big thank you Karina and Alex as well as their guests. An extra special thank you Alex for his service!
Semper Fi, without a doubt!
