Courtney and Chases Summer Celebration at CDA Resort

This beautifully elegant summer wedding at the Coeur d’Alene Resort is what it looks like to make lemonade out of lemons. This ceremony was planned to be on the beautiful lawn overlooking the lake, but mother nature had other plans for us. We were able to grab a quick first look and some family pictures before the weather turned. Everything else was captured indoors the event center, except for pictures out on the dock in the rain, at sunset, can we just say AMAZING!

I have had many brides feel disappointed or worried about weather on their wedding day, but as they say rain is good luck on a wedding day…. and as a photographer it can make for some real amazing photos! I always tell my brides not to worry, and focus on the moments, memories, and the new beginning. A good photographer is equipped to capture your day no matter what mother nature (or anyone else) throws at us.
