Sara and Joey's Mountain View Wedding

Sara and Joey’s wedding was a sophisticated and a wonderful celebration at the same time! These two are so unique and special. I fell in love with them when I first heard the story of how Joey proposed. Sara gave Joey a hunting trip to Alaska for Christmas, and joined him on the romantic trip. He knew that Sara was the girl for him, so he decided to propose to her in beautiful Alaska!

These two are so perfect for each other! Their laid back personalities mesh amazingly well. On their wedding day, they decided to forego the traditional first look approach, and instead said a quick hello to each other through a door (and Joey blew her kisses over the top of the door.) Then, they exchanged gifts. Sara gave Joey a perfectly designed fishing pole, to which Joey could only say, “that’s my girl.”

The love these two have for each other is obvious. Watching them tear up as they read the letters they wrote each other at the altar was beautiful. I find it absolutely adorable when a groom shows emotion on his wedding day, and Joey didn’t disappoint! It was so sweet to see him beaming and tear up when he saw his beautiful bride make the long walk down the aisle.

Sara and Joey were married at the beautiful Superstition Manor. When the couple requested a picture with the Superstition mountains in the background, we happily obliged (and rocked it of course!) The mountains were the perfect backdrop for the scenery, and to celebrate their classy and down to earth personalities.

The reception was a wonderful celebration with a surprise video slideshow of the couple, their lives and the start of the amazing journey they’re about to embark on! Joey also surprised Sara with an engraved glass slipper at the end of the daddy/daughter dance, which he delivered on one knee. (Is this guy romantic or what?) Not to mention the spin the bottle dance circle! It was an amazing party and I’m sure their guests will be talking about it for quite a while!
